I picked up my Lava Red RKC Saturday from St. Petersburg, FL and took it for a little ride for about 2.5 hours home. Its a 2004 with a lot of extras. I shopped around for a few weeks and I beleive I got the right bike and a great deal...
One of my first questions to you guys would be about the squeaking brakes. I briefly read something about this before I bought the bike so my expectation were already somewhat set. Should I pursue getting the dealership to help me with this or is there a secret/simple fix???
I like your taste in motorcycles, but your football team is another story...

Yup, grew up in Keene, NH and graduated from UCONN. Moved out here about 12 years ago but most of my family is back east. In fact I'm coming back for a week in June and plan on taking my kids to Old Orchard for a day trip. I love Maine in the summer. I will need therapy for the Pats game for years to come. The only true remedy will be a SB victory next year, which I have a feeling will happen (please god).
Gringo - That lighthouse looks photo-shopped on that island. I don't know what it is but that photo just doesn't look real. Like it's too perfect. You are one talented mofo. Did you take that from a helicopter?

Some of them are riding around Florida wearing Thunder Mountain CO HD tshirts! :B
Wait a minute here, it's not football season anymore. It's March Madness and Baseball!!! Red Sox to repeat and the UConn Huskies marching to the Final Four. That's what I am looking forward to. And a new Banner to add to the Celtics legacy. Ugh, the Super Bowl still haunts me, I need those memories erased.

So Saturday I got to ride as it was almost 80 degrees. Sunday i woke up to about 3 inches of icy snow. The ONLY thing that made it feel nice outside was the sweet taste of a Florida Orange. Thanks Gringo!

G - have fun man. I was just thinking, 154 years is a ridiculously long time. Don't ask me why this is running through my head but let's imagine they serve at least 500 mugs of beer per day. 500 * 365 = 182500 (* 154 yrs) = 28,105,000 glasses of beer sold. Wow, McSorleys has helped a ton of people get drunk. I salute them.

G - My wife tried to forward it to me and lost it in the process so I have no idea what it said. She actually asked me about it last night. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Wow, I'm jealous of your excursion to McSorleys coming up. I plan to return to the scene of the crime the first full weekend in June so when it gets closer to time I'll give you a heads up if you want to meet up and chuck a few back!

Gringo - I picked up your t-shirt this weekend from Thunder Mountain up in Loveland. I got you the blackest t-shirt I could find with black lettering and and a nice warm thinsulate lining ;) I just need to swing to the post office in the next day or two to get it out to you. I'll let you know when I ship it. As of yet I still haven't awoke from my nightmare as it seems the Giants still are the SB champs (god I hate writing that).

There is more snow in your future.. lots of white, cold, freezing, damp snow... then it will snow some more... after that, it will start to snow...
Luckily there will still be the bright warm feeling inside me of a 4th Super Bowl victory in 7 years. :C

Finally got the bike out yesterday after a month of snow and cold. God it felt good. The only thing I think that will feel equally good will be when the Pats stomp the Giants this weekend. Pats 49 - Giants 13.
